Welcome to Genbukai Canada
The Shito-Ryu Genbukai Canada organization is the official Canadian representative of Shihan Fumio Demura and Shito-Ryu Genbukai International, based in Santa Ana, California.
We offer instruction for adults and children in traditional Japanese karate and Okinawan Kobudo (weaponry). Some locations offer instruction in Muso Shinden Ryu Iai-Do and Suishin Itto-Ryu Batto-Do (Japanese Swordsmanship). We also sponsor tournaments and special training seminars throughout the year.
